1. Starter For Ten
Hooray I've finally finished this novel! There was nothing inspiring that got to me, I just laughed a lot. Which I think, makes it a damn good book. I always felt that a good piece of literature... if it made you either 1, laugh, because you genuinely think it's so funny that you're not embarrassed to be seen laughing to yourself while reading, or 2, sob, because you've found a relation with the story that you're genuinely touched by it, so you find yourself choking up and weeping a little. Something like that. Well... I thought that laughing and crying are the most extreme expressions of our emotions. Okay, apart from anger that is. So if you come across a piece of writing; or a photograph; or a movie; or a song; or a painting; or a drawing, then it made you laughed so much or cried so hard, then it's probably quite a remarkable piece of shit over there. But of course we all have our own degree of humor and emotional level. And then there are also people who don't really express much of themselves. So I think this is not an absolute valid analysis. HAHAHA
Anyway, there must be also some books that after you read them, you enter into a stage of nothingness, because the book is so powerful that you get sucked into it and then realized that you've lost yourself to it. It's like as if you've lost your virginity to the book. But it wasn't some pleasurable sex, but a rape session. HAHA. Which I think, makes it a damn good book too. At this point in time, I think I've just gotten a realisation that I don't know why the fuck I'm thinking about these so lets move on to point 2.
2. Canon
Almost likely to start work for a good 5-6 months next week~~~ Yay gong xi fa cai! Pretty excited to see cable cars day hehe
3. Chinese New Year
Oh yes, 大家新年快乐! How was ang pao collection? My family doesn't quite go visiting, because our house gets visited by everyone on the first day -______- oh the endless night on the first day of cny. Tension usually goes up for the second day but because of my grandma's passing a while back, it was an ordinary yet rare gathering with my maternal relatives with no ang paos or mandarin oranges. But I still enjoyed the night playing poker and erm, not winning money. HAHA
And we kinda dressed up our dog hahahahahahaha too cute. My sis bought this 祭り(matsuri) costume in Tokyo.

Haha sorry for the bad photos. One of my aunt said he looks like a ramen chef. Hahaha
4. Wonders of Daiso.
Lately I've been shopping a lot at Daiso. Isn't Daiso that kind of stores that you probably visit once a month or something? I mean, it isn't like you'll go down to PS or Ion or Vivo just to get your daily necessities and whatnots at Daiso. So I can say, 3 Daiso shopping trips in a month can be considered as frequent. Or frequent enough. I've bought bagful of stuff after each trip. I don't know how to leave Daiso empty handed. I've bought stuff like a mirror, some containers/boxes, a few packs of pochibukuro (like our Chinese ang pao packets) meant for otoshidama (like our Chinese ang paos with money) but I'm going to use them as letter envelopes instead haha, and... some cans of Cider. HAHA. Everything @ $2 seems like a real good bargain, though in fact, as much as there are a lot of under-priced good deals, there are also plenty of overpriced items. Either way we still buy. "Only two dollars!!!" YUP.
5. GANTZ.
Omfg, Gantz.
Hahahaha okay this came out in 2010 but I only just watched it. I was a bit turned off by the whole "killing aliens and wearing full body tight suits with huge guns", so I didn't watch it in the cinema when it showed. Anyway, it was such a big hit, so I thought... "It shouldn't be because everyone loves watching aliens," or that everyone was a huge fan of the manga series. So I painstakingly found the correct version (because there were so many uploads of the English dubbed version argh wtf) and finished part 1 and part 2. Hooray~~~~~~ I teared towards the end ha ha ha ha ha every heroic movie needs a hero, somehow. A full happy ending would have been satisfying but it would be labelled as "lack of creativity, full of cliche; nothing surprising, all expecting". Yeaaaaa. So they sacrificed Nino the main lead. ): ): ): I kinda went like, "kuuuuuuu!!!!!!" when it reached the ending.. cos it was just a very, "kuuuuuuu!!!!" moment. Haha you probably don't get it. >:)
I have 4? Gantz movie posters from Popcorn my sister gave to me, and I really don't know what to do with them. Put them up?? Hahahaha
6. Erm
Ha ha ha I'm tired of this. Byez
