nineteen!

Haha yay I turned nineteen last Saturday! How should I write about my birthday..... lol so embarrassing.

Thank youuuuuu to my girlfriends for arranging the meetups and surprise cake (haha) and birthday cards and lunch treat hehe. 

1. thanksss jeannica for arranging the meetup on friday though you're the only one who could make it LOL. we saw the younger and in my opinion, also the cuter version of Ron Ng at baskin robbins and it was the highlight of the night. LOL WHAT. hehe but it was a lot of fun ^~^

2. it must be fated. my appointment was cancelled so i was home that saturday morning watching Friends. hehe thank youuu joyce and nads for the surprise visit with the cake and birthday cards at my void deck, aww (':

Haiyo I really miss sec school times so much. MY GOD WE ALL CHANGED SO MUCH. 

3. Met Nellyn there after for lunch at Sukiya hehehehehehehehe

HA my fourth time there in 8 months. Hehe thank you nellyn for the treat!! ^^ 

We spent the day at Marina Bay "lepak-ing" (finally knew how to pronounce this malay word properly that day hahaha). Aaahh, love Marina Bay. 

And I bought 4 books at kino with the vouchers my sis got for me HEHEHE. 

I've kinda~ always wanted to get 'The Understudy' by David Nicholls, cos it's well, David Nicholls. He's funny. It's good to read funny books. It's worth to read a funny book by one of your favourite author even though the story may not be deemed fantastic cos it's probably just another cliche. But if every book has to be read like To Kill A Mockingbird...................................... i will not be normal. 

Last year, I wanted to read 'Hector and the Search for Happiness' by Francois Lelord but I did not. Now I bought 'Hector Finds Time'. That means in a few months' time, I will be getting 'Hector and the Search for Happiness'. And soon 'Hector and the Secrets of Love'. HAHA. 

'People Who Eat Darkness' by Richard Lloyd Parry. I caught sight of this book and the title was staring right back at me and screamed, "YOU HAVE TO READ ME." 

'The Devotion of Suspect X' by Keigo Higashino. Because this man writes creepily good mystery thriller stories. And because HIS WORKS ARE MOSTLY ONLY TRANSLATED INTO CHINESE AND THIS IS ONLY THE SECOND NOVEL THAT IS TRANSLATED INTO ENGLISH. so yes. YESSSSSSS.

Took part in the 2XU 10km run held on the first day of April. HAHAHAHAHAHA YA. 

Lol okay joyce has bad screencapping skills and i am lazy to crop it. 

Oh look at our happy faces with the medal HAHA. 

But anyway, it was a good run! I think we all completed under 1 hr 30 mins because it was only slightly past 9am when we were done. Yayyyyy. Okay but I confess, I didn't run all the way and that's not veeeery satisfying haha. NEXT TIME I will not walk. But I will still grab a drink at every hydration station LOL. AND because you can just THROW THE CUP along the side of the road hahahahaha cheap littering thrill. WELL DONE GIRLS, WELL DONE HAHA. 

Oh but yes, I am currently suffering the aftermath of a 10km-really-not-a-joke-especially-after-not-running-or-exercising-properly-for-more-than-half-a-year run. Nvm, muscle aches are healthy.

Hearty dinner at Seafood Paradise with my family in the evening~~~~ and Bakerzin chocolate mousse cake yumzzz. Oh you know, two Sundays ago my family took a ferry to Malaysia's Pengereng for seafood!!!!!! the lobster was good the crabs were good the coconut drink was good whee. Childhood memories, cos I remember going there when I was a lot younger but it was tragic because I have seasick. I still have. LOL. Anyway the trip was quite memorable because there weren't any more ferries to bring us back to Changi due to irresponsible drivers, and so we took a detour, cabbed to JB that took 2 hours and costed SGD90 and finally back to Singapore - the other side of Singapore where we came from. lol there's nothing much to talk about it.

Like I said, it feels embarrassing to talk about own birthdays so idk how to end this but THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO WISHED ^~^

Today I made this at work. It took me about an hour. 

I am so proud.

I have one Kanjani8 song in my 'daisuki' playlist because i want to hear Ryo's voice in songs besides NEWS' and because this song is a ballad and it is a sweet ballad and it izzz nice. 

And then there's Nino's solo.

LOL these videos are always funny because they post every possible photo of them to fill the song but ya, we only want to hear the song.
