Hanabi

For 18 years now (okay that's just technically. Mentally, as far as I can remember, maybe about 11 years hahaha), it's family tradition to have all 6 members home (now plus 1 dog so 7) to watch NDP together while having dinner at the living room. And dinner's always something different (or the same every year) from usual weekday dinners. Uh huh.

I kinda thought NDP was a must-watch HAHAHA but no, not really. Joyce and Nads were mugging in their school. Tskkkkk. Hahaha.

Basically I only look forward to the contingents and marching and fly past, which are the jets (!!!!!!!!!!). And the singing (hahahahaha). But they no longer have the combined school choir singing medleys at 6 plus when the parade just started ): ): ): I think this is the end of my "know-every-single-national-day-song-always-sing-along-like-karaoke-and-feel-patriotic" moment. I gave school celebration a miss this year so.... Yes it has officially ended. Hahahahaha. I miss celebrations at PL ): hurrr first row seats you know. Meh anyway.

Fireworks, they're getting better each year? Idk, that's what they say. Omg it is also the end of the "run-to-15th-floor's-corridor-to-catch-a-glimpse-of-fireworks-from-stadium" times. Well it kinda ended a few years back when NDP moved to marina bay. hahaha good days. Anyway. I don't fancy watching fireworks on tv too much haha. They're still pretty yes....but it's on tv ): I am a sucker for fireworks (big and small haha), skylights, stuff like that. IDK, DON'T YOU FEEL TOUCHED WHEN YOU SEE THEM. Hahahaha

Well I honestly do leh.... When you see it at wherever you are watching from, it feels like they're blooming for you....... HAHA I THINK IM TOO SENTIMENTAL ABOUT THIS. but idk, it's like those times when you feel romantic with your bf or your gf. For example when you're catching a sunrise with them. Romantic right. But why exactly is it romantic?? Natural response is because you're with your lover right. But if you think about it.... If you love your lover so much, you don't need any occasion or location or time to feel romantic. Any time is romantic with him/her. Even washing dishes together is romantic. Or taking a bus. Or when you're both squeezed in the mad rush hour packed train. UH HUH. really, think about it. Hahahaha I'm a psycho. But ya. Hehe there is no link with fireworks hahahahaha

Anyway. Fireworks. Yeah I hope next year I can be at marina bay. Love that area too much. Sighhhhhhh. Reminiscences can be a stab in the heart. Multiple times. Ha haaa.

Lunch with Joyce & Nads at Shabu-shi today. We all kinda wanted to try it cos it looks so tempting but ehhhh. It was made in china and selling as Japanese good. Yup. But still ate like bosses. So full that I couldn't quite walk, almost puked while trying to balance on the bus hahaha but I think it was the Rockery caramel milk tea. Yucks.

We had nothing much to talk about actually, because we date our books everyday hahaha. Okay I had a bit. Supposedly a lot but no, shouldnt corrupt my mind to recall. Oh god eww.

This thing with them (and Stef & Jeannica who couldn't make it), we always laugh at the same old jokes. always laughing very hardly. Hahahah. Maybe even harder each time. Why are we so boring? hehehe. We kinda drift off from each other more times than the times we catch up, but then in the end we come back together again & feel like we just met last night hahaha.
