I'm so glad it was made into a movie; it really did not disappoint one bit. You know how some irritating screenwriters like to "adapt from the novel", only twisting the ending or add in their own colors for the movie? Just like how, in 'My Sister's Keeper'........... the sick sister died in the movie when she was supposed to live as her younger sister died in the car crash on the day of the trial. Okay I must admit that I definitely preferred the movie ending HAHA, but still, it made the movie turn out to be cliche because the sick was fated to die? and it was kinda a happy ending. Anyway, not that I really like Jodi Picoult.
Back to 'The Devotion of Suspect X'....... It. Is. So. Good. The crime is flawless, if you've actually thought about every of the details being put out and play it in your head. But more than how smart the plot goes, what gripped me was how touching it is. What was heartbreaking was the old friendship the two geniuses shared, and the love that the mathematician had for the single mother. Very mind boggling.
くうううー!
And of course... it was damn good acting by Tsutsumi Shinichi (always remembering him as the cool Captain in Good Luck!! haha) and the very charming Fukuyama Masaharu *_* (actually I remember saying his name in Chinese more than in Japanese haha)........ you know, if Professor Yukawa was real, and he's my teacher, physics would really be my favourite subject. And anyway, Shibasaki Kou is one of fav actresses haha she's so cute.
When the theme song came on, it was like, BAM!, the emotions start flowing right.
I've been listening to this song for the past 3 years ever since it came out.......never quite heard it this way until watching this movie. Hearing the lyrics again after watching the movie made the song even more powerful hahaha. Damn.
I prefer Shibasaki's version more than Fukuyama's; her voice is so clear so it feels like it goes right through you. *__*
Oh! and wow, I've learnt quite a bit about the P=NP unsolvable problem (which apparently has a flaw in its starting theory??), and I have to be honest to you that, No, No, I still do not understand it LOL. And there's also the 4-colour theorem which is easier to comprehend if you just understand the basis of it. That only 4 colours are needed to draw up a map, and 2 same colours would never be adjacent to each other, meaning they may be merely touching on their points but never on the sides.................... yeah it can be very simple but there are a whole lot of calculations and theories and whatnots to derive why and how. I'm not very interested LOL but it is a cool finding.
I am currently reading 'Hector Finds Time' by Francois ???? (I didn't wanna cheat by googling his name but anyway it's Lelord, Francois Lelord - a French), and although I didn't quite expect the story to be going this way so, well, it's not really disappointment, it's just that I have to pay good attention while reading cos it feels like it's those kinda books where, if you don't read carefully, you'd have just missed the good stuff in that short sentence. And the good stuff would usually be the very "mind opening" kinda stuff HAHA. But anyway it can be quite tiring haha.
Oh I've watched The Lucky One hahahahahahahahahaha ya zac efron's hot hahahahahaha.
Do you know of friends who are very smart and you know it so well because they're always showing that they are??? Do you know irritating these people are??? Do you know how if you're a truly smart person, nobody actually really knows how smart you are (or how well you've done for an exam or an interview, "in content(ly) speaking") because they know the words 'Shut Up'? Do you know even though you're smart and you can be high up there, do you know you are pretty much just a very arrogant bastard? I have to say, you can be full of yourself because you do have the amount to be, but damn you just bring Irritating to a whole new f--... a whole new level. Oh and I also do know that even so, they don't really care, how badass. So yes, they really don't deserve.
