anyway.
Headed down to tampines to support the girls for their match against ac today. Sadly aj didn't make it to the semis again, disappointingly we were always so close to it.
anyway................. (sorry i keep using this word ha ha ha)
I just got thinking a bit......... about the past....... i mean, my past. i mean, being in school, being in a school team, playing for the school, playing in the court, trying to win (because i only have ordinary skills, so i never quite had a 'sure win' match...okay really, we don't want to compare with erm, those other schools that don't have badminton as their niche sport.... okay you know i meant to say the lousy teams ha), sometimes winning, most of the time losing... lol wth.
hmmm. i just had this question, and it made me feel kinda sick about it, and also very sad. (you know when you're sick, you feel so sad cos you're sick?)
what have i really fought for?
today i kept shouting, "fight back! fight back!", "kill it!", "c'mon all the way!" ........ oh man, have i done all these?? have i actually fought back for my team, for myself, for the school (lol whut. okay but seriously, we were carrying the school name haha wtf like so big deal. okay seriously.)??? to be honest, i remember every time we met a stronger opponent and we were on the verge of losing, i will just... lose it. i mean, physically and mentally. i just had the thought like, "okay.. lets be realistic, it's gone." so ya.
and i don't think i've ever really killed it? there's only this much you can do with ordinary skills.
and for the fact that i thought, "okay... lets be realistic, it's gone," kinda show i hadn't quite went 'all the way'.
oh god what was i doing hahahaha.
aiyah.......................
miss playing badminton, sigh. it's a good sport you know, really. it's kinda sad that some people don't know much about badminton cos they think tennis seems more interesting and cool because Westerners play it most and it's a rich sport and again, you see a lot of angmohs playing, and again, they spend so much money on the tournaments and everything........ like it's some pretty damn big shot game.
but have you seen lin dan play???? or the koreans (ah, what's his name again? ... lee yong dae. haha the only korean i like), and of course the chinese. have you watched mens' doubles??? holy shiz.
haha okay bye bye.
