Badminton team's chalet yesterday, and I had a time of my life. Less than 2 hours since I got there, I got a disgusting bleeding swelling lower lip, an awkward bruise on my left pinky, and abrasions on my chin, elbow and knee. Jinxed.

Haha okay so I fell down pretty hard from this disc because I lost support from my hands, and yah you know, BAAAAM! and I landed on the sandy ground. Oh well.
Anyway we cycled a bit more, and I am already planning my next cycling outing in my head. The wind was awesome, and it really does make you feel like you're flying. HAHA. I found my love for the East again. It was a pity we didn't exactly cycle a lot, so I'll take yesterday as a warm-up. (:
BBQ was boring because the food variety was limited, but the company made it all fun, so.. yay (:

Renovation works for my toilets are finally done! The past 8 days were torturous, and yes, we have learnt the odd lesson of not to take your home toilets for granted.
Just 1 hour ago, renovation works for my kitchen has somehow begun. I want to faint.
I haven't eaten home-cooked food for the past 1.5 weeks......... ): this longing just confirms that I probably cannot live out of home for more than 2 weeks. Hahahaha

How should I say,
there were a lot of things that I couldn't understand, or didn't know how to understand. The obvious, I don't understand Hokkien. I'll take it as a blessing in disguise, for most of the time during the prayers, I just stoned while I see my mother and my aunts weeping. I didn't understand a lot of the rituals, why we do this, why we do that. But we just quietly follow the steps, and I do think that a small voice in each of us is speaking to grandmother in our own way, whether we understood what we were doing or not.
I asked my parents about the rituals after it all ended, asked the meaning of this, the meaning of that. To summarise, it doesn't really matter if we knew what they meant, because what matters is we were all there to send grandmother off to a better place, off to meet grandfather and my late uncle.
The moment when the casket was pushed inside for cremation was heartbreaking.
This is all I'm going to say.
